Bignor Park Editorial
Bignor Park is filled with a range of stunning roses, encompassing the tone of an English country garden. When I started designing the flowers for this shoot, I wanted to draw inspiration from the surroundings to complement the setting.
For me, the underlying structure of a traditional English garden is the rose as it embodies the romantic tone of a country wedding. The floral decorations and bouquet were inspired by the idyllic rural surroundings of Bignor Park’s gardens. This inspiration led me to use a selection of roses such as Pink O’Hara, Peony Pink, and Romantic Antike as well as adding touches of delicate pale peach Lisianthus and hints of lilac Clematis to reflect the tone of a delicate, sophisticated, and elegant wedding ceremony.
As more and more couples decide to have their wedding ceremony outdoors, there are multiple ways to tailor floral arrangements to suit your day. As the ceremony was small and intimate, the semi-circle floral decoration helped to construct a curated space for personal moments where the bride and groom could exchange their vows. This could also be used as a unique way to design and transform the smaller-scale aspects of your wedding venue
